A native of Michigan, Nancy Locke enjoys snapping nature photos while she takes her daily walks with her husband, Jeff, on their twenty lush acres in Northern Michigan. They also travel to untamed areas in the Upper Peninsula. Because of her carpal tunnel, Jeff carries the camera equipment as they follow the winding trails. On their walks, they have encountered bears and bobcats, coyotes and deer. The more photos Nancy snaps, the more she discovers the joy of God in His Creation. Her first inspirational photograph happened after a blizzard, when the six-hundred-foot driveway was intricately woven shut with snowy branches.
In the past, Nancy has snapped photos for a newspaper and currently has been ministering online by sharing her inspirational nature photos.
As a Missouri Lutheran Christian, Nancy has enjoyed teaching Sunday school and singing alto in the church choir.
She has two grown daughters in the medical profession. Nancy's husband is retired from the Fish and Wildlife Service, and formerly she was a dental hygienist. |
